Description
Schick AE intraoral sensor combines the exceptional resolution of 33 lp/mm theoretical resolution with optimized data read-out and innovative filtering functions to enhance diagnostic capabilities. Through new enhancements, relevant anatomical structures are highlighted to support an accurate and detailed diagnosis. Increased sensor sensitivity and an enhanced low-dose optimized exposure spectrum allow for optimal visibility and diagnostics at reduced exposure.
Schick AE outshines the competition with its enhanced diagnostics, ease of use, and robust durability. With optimized data read-out and exclusive innovative filtering functions to maximize the diagnostic potential, you get superior image quality to support your diagnosis. This is why 85% of dentists prefer Schick AE’s image quality and diagnostic capabilities when compared to Kavo Kerr’s portfolio.
By enabling patient-centered experiences, greater practice efficiency, and the opportunity for procedural expansion, it’s an integral partner in helping you build a successful practice and provide more healthy smiles.
The Schick AE sensor offers me excellent image quality. I get a solid basis for a safe and accurate diagnosis of my patients, even in lower X-ray dose ranges. Handling digital X-ray images with the Schick AE sensor is also extremely simple. The images are immediately available and ready for treatment assessment without a lot of additional steps, helping me to keep an efficient workflow. Dr. Leonard Patella, Garden City, NY
This new dental x-ray sensor features the company’s new Advanced Exposure technology which reportedly “combines market-leading image quality with advances in filtering enhancements and a broadened exposure spectrum, granting a solid base for safe diagnostics, even in lower x-ray dose ranges.”
These new advanced image processing algorithms supplement the proven theoretical resolution of 33 lp/mm creating a clearer diagnosable image output. According to the company, additional details become visible at first sight, and previously under and overexposed image areas are considerably reduced. Even fluctuations in radiation or suboptimal exposure settings are counterbalanced.
X-rays produced with the Schick AE intraoral sensor are instantly available for diagnosis as a result of an accelerated read-out and improved data transfer via a new USB 3 interface.
The Schick AE is compatible with the Sidexis 4 imaging software.
